Synakis Awarded Overall Winner at ARVO 2025 Eye Pitch

Synakis has won the $25,000 1st place prize as the Overall Winner at The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) 2025 Eye Pitch. Synakis’ Jonathan Labriola presented the winning pitch at the ARVO 2025 Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah during All-Access Saturday on May 3rd, 2025.

Eye Pitch is ARVO’s annual entrepreneurial pitch competition in collaboration with the Alcon Seed Fund. Synakis was selected to pitch as a top 5 scored proposal amongst over 60 applicants. A panel of expert judges selected Synakis’ pitch as the Overall Winner, awarding Synakis the $25,000 1st place prize.
